Some recent doodles
Returned from a trip. So here's again collected doodles. Some are from my Moleskine that I just had to buy to see if it's worth it's reputation...hmmm, remains to be seen. Maybe I just hadn't found the right pen for it, pens being another bad shopping habit of mine besides sketchbooks. So the pencil drawings are from another sketchbook :) The texture in the book's paper is so heavy that it's a pain to scan in.
Mostly drawn in a shaky train while traveling through Spain.

Havuja perkele!
Now that I'm starting to be active again with this blog I'm gonna take a trip :) But since it's also the start of the second part of my summer vacation, I'll hopefully do some new stuff next week.
This character popped into the sketchbook while I was taking my pet turtle outside on a sunny day. It could have used some color (the sketch, not the turtle) but I wanted to post little something before leaving.

Beer me!
This sketchdoodle had been lying around for quite a while and the characters seemed funny enough to motivate me to do some quick and simple color. And hey, basically it's new stuff and not my usual 3 year old left overs ;)
*sigh* I still feel I haven't found my direction yet and hopefully the good stuff is on it's way...

Desperate measures
Well, this is starting to be like scraping the barrel now :) but what the hell this was supposed to be a "virtual sketchbook" from the outset anyways!
Some doodles on this page are at least from a couple of years ago.

Good old doodles in a pile
Hi everybody! I hope to keep at least with this "weekly" pace of updates.
This is again one of my "throw some old sketchbook pages in a pile and hope that something good comes out of it" -kind of post :)
Summer should be the time when you have the most free time but it sure doesn't seem that way! Or then it might just be that I lack some self-organizing skills...

Psyched!
Slow slow...
This one I colored up in my sketchbook while I was at the Werchter rock festivals in Belgium last weekend. Whew what a blast! I had great time and the bands were awesome, Pearl Jam, Muse, Air and uuh Tori Amos, wish I'd been that piano chair ;D
Original idea in this sketchbook page was to be a bit psychedelic but actually like my friend commented it turned out to be a gay god. After all, we did "sing" Bohemian Rhapsody several times during the trip...
